Philip Bledsoe has been Superintendent of Peaster Independent School District since July of 1986. He previously served as Principal for the district for two years prior to his appointment as Superintendent.

He is a career educator and recently observed his 38th year of service. His teaching career began in 1965 at Fort Worth Independent School District where he spent sixteen years as a classroom teacher in the area of industrial arts.

Mr. Bledsoe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Education Degree from the University of North Texas. He received his Superintendent’s Certification from Tarleton State University.
