Mr. Crumley serves as the lead Technology Services Technician of the Technology Services Department which includes Technical Support Services, Telecommunications and Special Projects, and Information Management Systems. In addition, this department supports Instructional Technology.

Technical Support Services is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of the district's computing systems, networks, and data communications technologies, including hardware and software. This also includes maintaining the large inventory of computers, computer components, printers, and data communication equipment for our network needs.

The Help Desk provides centralized help for technology issues. All issues that require on-site support are entered into a service call tracking database and assigned to the appropriate group for resolution. Once service calls are entered into the database, they stay on an open call list until completed, ensuring that we do not let problems "fall through the crack". During school year 05-06, the Help Desk handled over 700 emergency and non-priority service calls.

Campus Support Teams are led by a Campus Technology Coordinator. The coordinator role includes collaborating with technical support services and tele-communications to provide needed services to the campuses and providing overall planning leadership to the campus.

The Telecommunications Department works to meet the telecommunications needs of the district staff including all facets of the district telephone systems, cellular and paging service, voice mail, and long distance service. They work closely with district and building level administrators to identify needs and provide technology based solutions, which will allow for maximum administrative support of teaching and learning at the classroom level.

Information Management Systems coordinates all district wide systems integration with specific software which includes Winschool, E-Class, E-Attendance, PIEMS, PLATO, LunchBytes, Health Office, Athena Library Services, as well as others.

Instructional Technology consists of Student Database Managers and Library Media Services. The student database managers' responsibilities include supporting our district wide classroom electronic gradebook and attendance system. Library Media Services work directly with each campus librarian and library aide as well as overseeing district-wide programs including library technical services, video streaming and other multi-media equipment and services.
